When TV ads were more entertaining than TV

It was the late ‘60s and revolution was in the air.

In our homes. On our streets. In our universities.

And even on Madison avenue, where a handful
of enlightened ad agencies and their clients began
to see the wisdom of talking to a jaded public with
intelligence, humanity, wit and originality.

Which drew creative types like me, who in the
past wouldn’t have considered selling out to
the in -your- face garbage Madison Ave. had
been spewing out.

I thought you might enjoy a few of my own tv spots
from that all- too- brief time of enlightenment.

They’re all a little dated, I guess—a bit worn around
the edges.

But then time has a way of doing that to us all.
